PROJECT DETAILS

Supreme Integrated Technology (SIT), in partnership with sister company Hydraquip, Inc., recently delivered a fully customized hydraulic test cart to a leading provider of offshore project and service solutions for the energy industry.

Customer Challenge:
The client regularly services a wide range of offshore and ROV tools in their facility, requiring dependable hydraulic testing equipment to ensure proper performance before deployment. However, their existing test carts had become increasingly unreliable, plagued by persistent leaks and degraded performance due to years of makeshift repairs and parts being removed for other uses. These issues slowed operations and introduced safety concerns, prompting the need for a modern, purpose-built replacement.

Collaborative Solution from SIT and Hydraquip:
Recognizing the need for a fresh and dependable solution, SIT and Hydraquip teamed up to design and deliver a high-performance test cart tailored to the clients’ operational requirements. The result was a robust and user-friendly cart capable of running multiple tests simultaneously, with precise control over each station.

Test Cart Features and Specifications:

  • Aluminum Frame Construction – Lightweight yet durable for long-term industrial use
  • 5 Independent Test Stations – Allowing multiple tools to be tested simultaneously
  • Load-Independent Proportional Flow Controls – Adjustable from 0 to 30 GPM per station
  • Pressure Controls – Individually regulated up to 3,000 PSI per station
  • Leak-Free Design – Engineered for reliability, ease of use, and minimal maintenance
  • Extra-large hose hook hangers to accommodate fitting larger or multiple hoses
  • Extra drip pan in back, to prevent spills.

Results & Benefits:
The new test cart provides a clean, consolidated, and highly functional platform to perform hydraulic testing on a variety of subsea tools. With each station offering independent control of flow and pressure, their team can now execute more efficient and accurate testing with reduced downtime and increased safety. This solution not only addresses immediate operational needs but also supports long-term reliability in their subsea service processes.

This project reflects SIT and Hydraquip’s shared commitment to delivering smart, high-quality hydraulic solutions that directly solve customer challenges in critical offshore environments.
