PROJECT DETAILS
SIT assisted in designing an HPU to fit within an 8’x8’x20’ shipping container with a 1,900 gallon capacity reservoir. We were able to create plumbing solutions to fit the available replacement housings, although we did have to shift from an inline design to using several 90 degree sweeping bends to meet these parameters. SIT supplied two HPUs built as mirror images to fit in the same room supplying motion simulators. These HPUs can deliver 340 gpm at 2,500 psi for 16 hours a day, 365 days a year with a 190gpm cooling & filtration loop which turns the reservoir 10 times per hour, while meeting ISO 16/14/11. These HPUs are designed to last for 20 years.
