This compact, self-contained unit is engineered to provide dependable hydraulic power to the trailer's lifting legs (outriggers)—critical components that stabilize the trailer when it arrives on-site at a hydraulic fracturing (frac) location.

A chassis-mount outrigger HPU is a hydraulic power unit packaged within a robust frame, mounted directly to the trailer chassis. It supplies the hydraulic force needed to raise and lower outriggers, which level and stabilize the trailer on uneven terrain. These units are essential in high-mobility environments like oil and gas fields, where trailers must be quickly deployed and safely operated.

It operates on a 24VDC power supply and is driven by an electric motor, offering a clean and efficient solution for mobile hydraulic systems. The unit features a durable aluminum skid/frame for lightweight mounting, paired with a carbon steel reservoir for fluid containment. Hydraulic lines are built with 316 stainless steel tubing and pipe, as well as carbon steel piping for structural strength. Corrosion-resistant plated steel components are used throughout the system, including hose ends, adapters, tube fittings, and fasteners—ensuring long-term durability in rugged oilfield environments.
